Exams: There will be a midterm exam and a final exam.
The midterm exam will be Tuesday, October 28th, 7:15pm.
The final exam will be in the time slot officially assigned by the registrar. Right now, that’s 2:30pm on Sunday, December 14th. However, the registrar sometimes changes this.
Note: Exams are difficult to reschedule, and arrangements must be made ahead of time. Please contact me a few weeks ahead of time if you forsee there being a problem.
Assignments, Projects and Grading: see the Grading page
Computing Environment: This class has been assigned to the Windows computing labs. If a program doesn’t run on the machines in these labs, it doesn’t run as far as we’re concerned. (see computing policies)
Previous course offerings: This semester will be quite different from previous offerings of CS559. A lot of it is an experiment.
