in Assignment 1

Paper

1. Sentence: This paper presents a new motion model we term deformable motion models for human motion analysis and synthesis (1st sentence, 3rd paragraph)

2. Problem: To create a motion model that generate natural looking animations and take intuitive inputs.

3. Key Idea: Use annotated motion examples to generate parametrized deformable motion models that encode global and environmental information.

4.a What the paper does: Presents a system that allows a user to quickly and intuitively input motion constraints. These constraints are then used as inputs to the deformable models

4.b. What it could be used for: Creating easy to use animation interfaces that can be used by users of a range of skills to generate good quality animations.

5. Resources: Video
