It’s an interesting idea – but its less clear what the player will see/do, and how much you will need to get the mechanic down (on top of regular first-person effects). Creating sufficiently interesting puzzles may be hard – it would be easy to make the frustrating because it becomes about the quirks of the mechanic (but, maybe that can be intentional?)
