This week, we’ll talk about evaluation and formalize notions data, as well as wrap up the design challenge and move on to the re-design challenge. There are lots of small things things due, and they are timely for allowing us to move on to the next things. Note that the Re-Design assignment has been posted!
- Monday, February 13th – Your response to the Design Challenge is due!
- Monday, February 13th – Reading 5: Evaluation (with a required Piazza comment) – prepared for discussion in lecture.
- Tuesday, February 14th – Partner requests for the Re-Design Assignment (if you have a request for who you’d like to work with on the Re-Design assignment, send it. Otherwise, we’ll assign you someone)
- Wednesday, February 15th – Discussions on the Design Challenge (required Piazza postings)
- Wednesday, February 15th – Reading 6: Data (piazza posting optional) – be ready for a class discussion about this.
- Wednesday, February 15th – we’ll provide the group assignments for the Re-Design assignment
- Friday, February 17th – no class. You may use the class time for meeting with your Re-Design assignment group.
This week, I also intend to provide a better map of how we’re keeping score this semester, and what kinds of things you’ll be doing. Watch for announcements.
Next week, we’ll complete the re-design assignment, and shift gears in class discussion to focus on learning about the basics of perception.
