I like the idea of building on the physics toy to make something into a game. It seems like this has been done a lot (even for this mechanic).

There is an iphone game called “sway” that played with a similar kind of mechanic (here you were a ragdoll trying to hold on to hand holds)

Once you’ve nailed the mechanic, making it into a fun game (right level of challenge) can be hard – but I think that this is one where getting the base mechanic might make the other stuff easy.
