I think that the sequence visualization papers (from reading 17) are a great way to review the concepts from the early part of the class. So great, that I want everyone to use them to reflect on what we’ve learned through the lectures.
Write 1-2 pages explaining how the concepts that you’ve learned in the first 10 weeks in class are reflected in Sequence Surveyor.
The goal here is for you to show what concepts you’ve learned over the semester. You may use them to critique SS, or to use ideas from SS to organize what you’ve learned or, …
Send a PDF FILE (no other formats accepted) to the TA before the end of the day on Wednesday, April 11th. (if it’s Thursday, it’s not Wednesday). If you submit more than 2 pages, we will only look at the first 2.
This will be graded, but will simply count as any other assignment.
Note: Sequence Surveyor will be discussed in class on Monday, April 9th, so may wait until after that lecture to write things. Or you might want to get this done ahead of time, since you’ll have other things to do that week.
