Huan Xu is a junior undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics.

Huan was a former student of 559 in fall 2021, and this is his first time being a peer mentor. Before working as a peer mentor, he was a tutor at the CS learning center and was the McBurney notetaker for 559 (feel free to ask him for past notes).

Huan’s research interest lays in synthetic pre-training and optimizing vision-based pose estimation systems on edge device.

In his free time, Huan likes to explore islands, fish, and hang out in Animal Crossing :)
